| | | | Fatherhood with a Twist How to Braid Your Daughter's Hair
It doesn't take any more dexterity than, say, tying a clove hitch or a sheet bend.
Divide a ponytail into three separate strands of even thickness.
Cross the right section over the middle one, and pull the middle one over to the right.
Then cross the left section over the middle one (which was originally the right section), and pull the middle one over to the left.
Repeat this over and over until you reach the bottom. Snap a tight hair band on the end.
The tightness of the braid is determined by the angle at which you pull the sections to the left and right. The more horizontal the angle, the tighter the braid will be.
